We live inside overlapping crises that reshape how we trust what comes next, and how we imagine the future. Certainty becomes rare, and the pressure to choose remains. Even when the future feels hard to picture, we are already knotted to it. It is not elsewhere: it is already here and happening, in what we choose, what we hold, and what we release. This is KNOT YET. The future is already now. What tells us it has begun?

KNOT names the bond. It ties us to what comes next, even when we do not fully feel it. YET names time that stays unfinished. It holds delay, possibility, and the fact that the future arrives before we are ready. KNOT YET is a constellation of an installation with scent and drawings. These elements act as keys to sense the future. The installation builds an airy and impalpable field. Scent is central to this work because it bypasses image and reaches the body directly. It changes how time is felt in a room, how memory appears, and how proximity becomes tangible.
Colours stay dreamy and light, sometimes close to disappearance. Perception depends on rhythm, distance, and time. Only at the end does colour concentrate and intensify, as a final shift that changes how the room is read.The work holds contact, transfer, and recombination. It is the moment where what was held apart can finally meet. (Alek)

Alek Alexandre Levi, born in 1984, is a French Polish visual artist based in Berlin. Working across drawing, photography, installation with scent, and Butoh dance, his practice explores how presence takes form and how we sense the future through movement and perception, shaped by experiences of migration and shifting contexts. With a background in visual communication and design in Germany and France, he graduated from the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris in 2010, following a Master of Engineering from École Centrale de Lyon in 2009. Alek has exhibited internationally, with presentations in Bangkok, Seoul, Berlin, Tokyo, and Sydney. His work reflects a trajectory shaped by movement between places, including formative years in Japan and Thailand, and his current life in Berlin.
